The website collects the following types of data:

Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures used to operate the website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses, browser type, operating system, domain names and addresses of websites from which access or exit was made, pages visited, time of request).

Voluntarily provided data

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses indicated on the website, as well as the completion and submission of forms on the website, entail the acquisition of the sender's personal data, necessary to respond to requests.

Dealer contact form

The website provides a contact form on the Dealers page through which the following personal data is collected:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Province of interest
• Text message
• IP address (collected automatically for security and abuse prevention purposes)

Completing the form requires explicit acceptance of this Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

Upon form submission:

• Data is transmitted by email to the Vecamplast S.R.L. sales department for request management.
• An automatic confirmation email is sent to the address provided by the user, as acknowledgement of receipt.
• Data is stored on the website server in a protected form to enable consultation and management of received requests.

3. Purpose of processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Website operation: ensuring proper navigation and technical functionality of the website.
• Responding to requests: managing and responding to communications sent via contact forms or email.
• Statistical analysis: analysing in aggregate and anonymous form how the website is used via Google Analytics 4 and Matomo, in order to improve content and user experience.
• Newsletter: with explicit consent, sending commercial communications about Vecam products and news.

The processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds pursuant to Art. 6 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR):

• Consent (Art. 6.1.a): for analytics cookies and newsletter distribution.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): for browsing data and technical website operation.
• Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b): for managing contact and quote requests.

5. Data recipients

Personal data may be disclosed to:

• Authorised personnel of Vecamplast S.R.L. for the purposes indicated above.
• Technical and IT service providers acting as data processors (hosting, analytics, email marketing).
• Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — data transferred to the USA on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
• Matomo (self-hosted or cloud) for traffic analysis.

6. Data retention

Personal data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, and in any case:

• Browsing data: deleted within 26 months of collection.
• Contact data (dealer form): retained for the time necessary to manage the request and subsequently for a maximum of 24 months from collection, after which it is deleted.
• Newsletter data: retained until consent is withdrawn.

Pursuant to Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, the data subject has the right to:

• Access: obtain confirmation of the existence of processing and access their data.
• Rectification: obtain correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data.
• Erasure: obtain deletion of their data in cases provided for by the GDPR.
• Restriction: obtain restriction of processing in cases provided for by the GDPR.
• Portability: receive their data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
• Objection: object at any time to the processing of their data on legitimate grounds.
• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to withdrawal.
